Supporting a local hospital through our safety excellence

We are delighted to have again been able to recognise continued excellent SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) performance at the Cassel site with a £1000 donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Clinic Fund, which is based within The James Cook hospital located close to the Cassel site. The Fund is used to support local children and young people with cystic fibrosis in many different ways, be it to buy individual items for personal use, e.g. a nebuliser or to buy equipment for the use of in-patients on the paediatric wards.

Cassel-based contractor Derek O’Donnell nominated the charity as his granddaughter suffers from cystic fibrosis and has benefitted in many ways from the organisation’s support. We are pleased to announce that during our forthcoming maintenance overhaul, we will be running the SHE award scheme daily and donating to charities if the criteria is met over that period.
