Site safety performance gives boost to local charity

We are delighted to have again been able to recognise continued excellent SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) performance at the Cassel site with a £1000 donation to the charity Little Princess Trust.

The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland, who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment. Each wig costs around £350 pounds so the money will make a huge difference to each recipient.

In addition, the Trust assists children with other conditions which also result in hair loss, the most common being alopecia.

The charity was nominated by Cassel employee, Andy Wortley, whose daughter has recently been raising money for the charity by having her own hair cut.  It is rewarding to see the results of our site’s strong safety performance, in the manufacture of methacrylate monomers, directly benefitting organisations that provide such valuable services.
